Dr. John Gerofi is assisted by a team of professionals with wide experience in the medical device industry.
Staff members have world-wide working experience in a number of areas including manufacturing, government laboratories and research and development. Staff can speak many languages including Arabic, Cantonese, English, Fijian, French, German, Hindi, Hungarian, Mandarin, Portuguese, Sinhalese and Vietnamese. The ENERSOL team is further strengthened by a team of consultants in Rubber technology, IT and regulatory affairs.
Prasanna De Silva
General Manager
A fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (U.K.)
Prasanna has significant experience in the industry.
He served as the General Manager of Ansell’s
manufacturing facility in Colombo, Sri Lanka and was subsequently the Vice president
of their Personal healthcare Operations division.
Grace Iskander
Laboratory Manager
Grace Iskander has over 17 years service with ENERSOL. Born in South Egypt, Grace completed a Science degree majoring in Chemistry and Biology. She taught science at a high school before migrating to Australia. Grace has since completed a Chemical Technology Certificate and a Graduate Certificate in Management Communication.
Tan Qing Hua
Engineering Manager
Qing (pronounced Ching) has over 17 years service with ENERSOL. Qing migrated to Australia from P.R China, where she completed a bachelor of Engineering Degree.
Qing studied engineering further at the University of Newcastle and completed a
Master of Engineering Science Degree.
Maree Stuart
Quality Manager
Maree serves as the ENERSOL Quality Manager and has significant experience in Laboratory testing, quality management and proficiency testing, having served NATA for more than 11 years.
Maree studied chemistry and has a Bsc and MBA from the University of Newcastle (Australia).
Yuner Huang
Software Engineer
Yuner joined ENERSOL in September 2006. His experience prior to joining ENERSOL was in software development for the animated film "Happy Feet". After migrating from China to NZ in the 1990s, he completed a post-graduate diploma in computer science at the University of Auckland in 1999 and was a software engineer for a telecom company until 2004. In China Yuner was an Electrical and Electronic Engineer.
Lisa Henretty
Admin. and IT
Lisa began as a laboratory technician and has since progressed to Admin, IT, webmaster, Interlab Trials and assistant to the General Manager and Managing Director. Lisa is also the editor the International newsletters, corresponds with clients and will be the first to greet you if you ever visit ENERSOL's Annandale office. You may have spoken with her on the phone as she also runs reception.
Anthony Pezzutto
Engineering Asst.
Anthony has served ENERSOL since 1995 and has a BSc from the University of Wollongong (Australia).
Anthony began as a Laboratory Technician and has progressed to Engineering Assistant. His main duties include
equipment assembly and purchasing. Anthony contributes in ENERSOL's continuing research and development
into high quality testing equipment and is also responsible for the packing and shipment of equipment.
Xiaoli Yin
Engineering Asst.
Xiaoli serves ENERSOL in the engineering and laboratory departments. Formally trained in engineering and power systems, she worked as a teacher before migrating to Australia.
Xiaoli assembles and calibrates equipment, maintains
ENERSOL's own laboratory equipment and works closely with other senior staff on
research.
Gavin Shaw
Consultant
Gavin Shaw completes factory inspections on behalf of the UNFPA with Dr Gerofi. Gavin has spent most of his career working in the technical and manufacturing fields for leading multi national latex product manufacturers. His experience includes the design, construction and commissioning of major green field condom manufacturing facilities in several countries. Gavin's expertise has been used widely to provide technical evaluations of joint venture opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.
